A look behind the scenes – Future Day at Kannelloni

On April 3, 2025, we welcomed around 21 students to Restaurant Cannelloni for Future Day. After a short round of introductions, we embarked together on a varied day full of insights into the world of gastronomy and beyond.

First, we introduced the kids to all departments of our company – from service to the kitchen to administration. A special highlight was the tour of the in-house coffee roasting plant and the adjacent production facility of Health Production GmbH.

Of course, a little refreshment was also a must: With chocolate croissants, donuts and soft drinks, the kids gathered new energy for the upcoming company rally. They went through various departments such as financial accounting, architecture, marketing and human resources. At each station, they had to answer exciting questions and solve a puzzle – turning learning into a fun experience.

Afterwards, each child was allowed to design their own personal coffee label. The matching bag was filled with fresh coffee on the spot – a fragrant souvenir to take home!

Another highlight: to experience the profession of chef at first hand, the children were able to create their own pizza – topping, baking and, of course, enjoying it straight away.

At the end, things got really funny again: in a small quiz competition about school, gastronomy and general knowledge, each child won their own personal goodie bag.

Our conclusion: An all-round successful day with lots of smiling faces, exciting insights and lots of fun! We’re delighted that everyone enjoyed it – maybe we’ll see some of you again in a few years’ time!
