First of all, I would like to introduce myself:

I’m Leon Mersch, I’m 17 years old and I’m training to be a technical product designer here at Kanne Immobilien GmbH & Co KG. You will always receive regular updates from us through these blog posts.

First of all, I would like to introduce you to my tasks as a Technical Product Designer:

• Creating sketches and drafts
• Creation of standard-compliant production drawings
• Planning and designing components and assemblies
• Designing components with 3D CAD systems, taking into account material properties and manufacturing processes
• Consideration of design specifications for component shapes
• Applying standards and guidelines to ensure process and product quality
• Project planning and customer-oriented implementation
• Considering and applying project and quality management methods
• Support in creating technical documentation
• Inter-company practical training in measuring and testing

I am glad that I have already been able to participate in many projects at work and that I continue to help shape projects. I also have so many great colleagues who actively support me. So training at the Kanne Group was a really great decision.
