Entrepreneurs do a lot for our region and it often goes beyond the obvious. The Emsland Business Award, which has been presented since 2007, therefore honors social commitment, innovative and creative approaches to company management, corporate development and entrepreneurial personalities for their life’s work. This award has become a permanent institution in the economic life of the region. The more than 600 nominations submitted in the six previous awards ceremonies show how important the Emsland Business Award has become for the regional economy. It is a great recognition of the work done. But every company is only as good as its employees. That is why the business award is also a tribute to the commitment and expertise of employees.
Nominations can also be submitted by companies that are not members of the Emsland Business Association – and the nominated company does not have to be a member of the association either.
