Hello everyone,
My name is Andrea Neufend and I am currently in the third and final year of my apprenticeship as a digital and print media designer. Time is flying by and as I approach my final exam in May, I thought it would be the perfect time to look back on my experiences so far and share what I’m most excited about.
Most of my time was spent creating and editing print products, but I also enjoyed creating social media content.
One of my highlights during this apprenticeship was definitely working on coffee labels. This task has become my absolute favorite part of the job. It’s a creative challenge to bring the brand to life through the label and at the same time communicate the message clearly and attractively.
During my training, I learned how important it is to continuously develop and be open to new challenges. Working on the coffee labels has not only given me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of design, but also to improve my skills in customer communication and project management.
Finally, I would like to encourage all future trainees in digital and print media design. It is an exciting and varied career path that requires creativity, technical understanding and the ability to constantly adapt. Don’t let the challenges put you off, but use them as an opportunity to grow and improve.
