Hallo Leute, I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences as a trainee at Kannelloni and reflect on how far I’ve come since joining this wonderful team. It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive environment.
My name is Irish Joie Vano, and I am 23 years old, currently residing in Germany for almost eight months now. Prior to joining Kannelloni, I was an au pair in Frankfurt for six months. Transitioning from being an au pair in Frankfurt to pursuing an education in Heede has been a significant shift, but one that I embraced wholeheartedly. Moving to Heede to pursue an education as a restaurant specialist, in German “Restaurantfachfrau”, at Kannelloni has been a fulfilling decision for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was stepping into something special.
The warmth and sense of belonging within the Kannelloni family have made this journey truly remarkable. The support and guidance I have received from my colleagues and mentors have been invaluable. Their encouragement has fueled my passion for gastronomy and inspired me to strive for excellence in everything I do.
Being in my first year as a trainee, I find every moment at Kannelloni to be enriching and enjoyable. Despite hearing doubts from others about the challenges of a trainee, I am proud to prove them wrong. Kannelloni stands out as an exemplary place for learning and growth, not just professionally but also personally. At Kannelloni, every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. Whether it’s mastering new techniques in the kitchen or honing my customer service skills in the restaurant, I am constantly learning and evolving. The hands-on experience and the mentorship I receive have solidified my love for this industry and reaffirmed my commitment to pursuing a career in gastronomy.
One of the things that truly sets Kannelloni apart is its emphasis on creating a positive and inclusive work environment. The camaraderie among colleagues and the genuine care for each other’s well-being make coming to work feel like coming home. There is a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect that permeates every aspect of our daily interactions, making Kannelloni not just a workplace, but a second family.
Surprisingly, I never feel exhausted after work. Instead, I find myself invigorated and passionate about my chosen field. Gastronomy has always been my calling ever since I arrived in Germany, and Kannelloni has provided the perfect platform for me to thrive and excel.
I am committed to making the most out of this opportunity and to contribute positively to the Kannelloni family. As I look back on my journey so far, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities that Kannelloni has provided me. Each day is a reminder of how fortunate I am to be surrounded by such talented and supportive individuals. I am excited to continue growing and learning alongside my Kannelloni family and to see where this journey takes us.
